Liverpool goalkeeper has said that despite Liverpool’s tedious schedule ahead, his sole focus at the moment is on tomorrow’s clash against Cardiff City.

After booking their place in the Champions League semi-finals, Liverpool play Cardiff City at Cardiff tomorrow. Both teams are in dire need of a win. While Liverpool need a win to keep their title hopes alive, Cardiff need a win to keep their Premier League survival hopes alive.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s game, Alisson said, “Definitely. Immediately after the game we were obviously really happy to have got through to the semi-finals, it’s a great achievement in the career of each individual player. But we have two simultaneous objectives: to win the Premier League and the Champions League, and our next challenge is Cardiff. I’m sure it’ll be a great challenge for us, we’re playing away and that’s always difficult in the Premier League. We’ll have to give 100 per cent on the pitch to get the desired victory.

They’ve got their important objectives and we’ve got ours, so both sides will really be fighting. They’ll be highly focused, they’ll have the fans on their side, which is important at a time like this, but we have to handle the conditions there and win. It’s what we want and it’s what we’re going to fight for.”
