Jurgen Klopp wants Ousmane Dembele at Liverpool

The winger has struggled to find his feet at Barcelona

Liverpool have progressed well under Jurgen Klopp since he took over the charge of the club. It was clearly visible this term as they reached Champions League final but lost 3-1 to Real Madrid on Sunday.

The Reds have already completed the signing of Fabinho from Monaco few days ago and RB Lepzig’s midfielder Naby Keita is set to arrive next month but the German coach is still looking to make more signings in order to strengthen the squad for next season.

Club’s Chairman Tom Werner even admitted that the manager will be given enough transfer funds to add reinforcements in the transfer window.

Klopp wants Ousmane Dembele to join Liverpool on loan next season, according to Mundo Deportivo .

Dembele joined the La Liga giants from Borussia Dortmund for a deal worth £135.5 million last summer. His outstanding displays in Germany caught the attention of the club and led them to pay such a hefty amount.

But the 21 year old struggled with injuries since the move and after regaining fitness he has failed to make an impact for the club. He has just managed to make 23 appearances in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and assisting 6.

Barca are willing to to sell the France International this summer if a tempting offer is tabled as they are looking to free up space and raise funds for the signing of Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann this summer, who has been heavily linked with a move to them in recent months.

Former Borussia Dortmund coach believes he has the speed and skill to function well in his attack. But faces a challenge as the club wants to spends their transfer budget elsewhere.

The winger prefers a permanent move rather than a loan but Klopp wants a personal meeting with him to change his mind.
