Jurgen Klopp took over the club four years ago and has since yet to win anything.

However, of all the seasons, this can prove to be the biggest of not only his Liverpool career but also of his entire managerial tenure.

Klopp was at a final of the Champions League twice before, once with Borussia Dortmund and once with Liverpool. However, on both occasions, the favaourites prevailed and he had to come back empty handed.

However, if that is the plot line this time, his Liverpool team should be the Champions given they are the favourites against Tottenham Hotspur.

Klopp will leave nothing to chance after collecting 97 points in the league, losing only once and still missing out on the Premier League title. He has said he wants a pre-season itself before the final!

“We have to do a couple of things in preparation for the Champions League [final], media stuff,” Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.

“We have to do that, then the boys will have a couple of days off and then we have two proper weeks as a pre-season for the Champions League final.

“We will do that, we will play that, (hopefully) win it, come home and then the people (would) get what they deserve.”
