The player has been linked with summer exit

Simon Mignolet joined Liverpool from Sunderland for a reported fee of £9 million on a five-year contract in the summer of 2013. He has been their mainstay in the goal over the past five seasons and has made 195 appearances for the club.

The 30 year was a regular during the initial stages of the campaign but fell down the pecking order during the second half under Jurgen Klopp. He didn’t feature since the 3-2 loss to West Brom in the FA Cup back in January.

Klopp preferred Loris Karius ahead of the Belgian International, who became the first choice goalkeeper for the club towards the end of last term. He was in brilliant form for them, helping the team to reach the Champions League final.

But the German goalkeeper was heavily criticized for his performances in the final against Real Madrid as his two huge errors costed Reds the match, as the Spanish side won their third consecutive Champions League title.

The Premier League giants were heavily linked host of goalkeepers and finally completed the signing of Roma star Alisson Becker, who became the most expensive goalkeeper ever.

Now with the arrival of the Brazilian goalkeeper, the Belgian is expected to leave the club this summer. His representative Nico Vaesen even admitted that his client is looking for a way out from the club and claimed a solution must be found.

It is believed that the Reds will only allow him to leave if they receive right offers from him and has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

Simon Mignolet will be offered an escape route from his misery by Turkish side Besiktas according to The Sun.

They cleared the way for a deal by selling No1 Fabri to Fulham to raise the cash and are now set to offer £12 million.
