Manchester City are expected to mess up in their final 5 games of the Premier League game, as per Jamie Redknapp.

The former Liverpool defender believes that Pep Guardiola’s men have a harder battle that the Reds after Sunday’s away fixture against Crystal Palace.

City are due to face off against Manchester United later this month with Tottenham Hotspur set to visit the Etihad on 20th May. Liverpool are top of the table but the Citizens have the chance to move up with a win over the Eagles at Selhurst Park.

“What they can do if they win is put some real pressure on Liverpool and that’s what they’ll be trying to do,” Redknapp said.

“It’s about taking care [of the game], getting three points. It might not be the best performance, obviously had a difficult night against Spurs in midweek.

“So maybe they’re at a little bit of a low. But this City side have got so many options, I’m sure Kevin De Bruyne will come back in, maybe [Leroy] Sane will start as well as they’re fresh from not playing midweek.”

Jurgen Klopp’s men still have to manage a win over Chelsea to be favourites to win this season’s league title.Jami
