Roberto Firmino is never satisfied and aims write Anfield history

Liverpool forward has vowed to keep his team on track in the Premier League title race as he aims for glory this season. The Brazilian insists “he is never satisfied.”

The Reds’ number nine is the highest scoring Brazilian in the Premier League, but he aims to improve and raise his bar higher than ever.

Firmino scored his 11th goal of the season last week in Liverpool’s thrilling 4-3 win over Crystal Palace. It was his 45th goal for the Reds in total.

He said: “I’m very proud but really I don’t want to stop there.

“I want to crack on and grow and develop even further and make a name for myself.

“I am proud but never satisfied. I always want more, to grow and develop further every day with objectives and targets to achieve.

“You have to deserve to score through hard work, running and helping the team. Consequently marvellous things happen.”

Firmino made 54 appearances for the club last season, more than any other player and he has already been involved in 31 games this season.

However, he wants to continue playing and contribute to the performance of the team.

The Brazilian added: “I’m really happy to be playing all the time of course and I’m in good physical health, thank God.

“As long as I’m fit I want to play all the time, helping the team towards victory. I’m very content and hope to be playing even more.”

Liverpool welcome Leicester City on Wednesday night in their next league game.
