Liverpool would be the top choice for Jude Bellingham‘s father

Dortmund actually wants £130m for Jude Bellingham.

Jude Bellingham is a hot property among big European clubs and Liverpool are also planning to get this talented midfielder.

The Reds would be the top choice for Jude Bellingham‘s father, CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has told GiveMeSport.

The Borussia Dortmund attacker continues to be linked to a host of clubs, but Jacobs admits Anfield would be the player’s destination if his father was making the final decision.

The Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano recently updated GMS that Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid are among the favorite clubs to sign English midfielder.

But, he has also admitted that these three clubs do not want to offer a huge amount for the 19-year-old sensation.

The Bundesliga youngster is valued at around £97m and according to the Daily Mail, Dortmund actually wants £130m for their asset.

While talking to GMS, the journalist said: “The wooing of Jude Bellingham isn’t only on football terms. It’s about convincing his family and that’s where Liverpool have put in the most work. And if it was up to Bellingham’s father, for example, I think that his top choice would be Liverpool.

“But Bellingham is going to score this a bit more dispassionately, much like Erling Haaland did when he joined Manchester City, and therefore he will look at other aspects, even stuff away from football.”

Klopp also talked about Bellingham and said: “He is a really good player. What can I say? I have thought that already for two or three years since he had his breakthrough at Dortmund. Everybody knew already, but I have no idea what that means for the money side of it.”

Both clubs are not making any announcements about the transfer fee of Cody Gakpo.

January’s transfer window is yet to start and Liverpool looked ahead of its rivals clubs as they agreed with PSV to sign Cody Gakpo.

PSV have announced they have reached an agreement with the Premier League club over the proposed transfer of Cody Gakpo.

The Dutchman was part of the World Cup squad of his nation that reached into the quarterfinals. He netted thrice in the mega event and this performance earned him a big reward. The Netherlands international is on the way to England to finalise a switch to Merseyside.

“PSV and Liverpool have reached an agreement on the proposed transfer of Cody Gakpo,” an official club statement read.

“The 23-year-old attacker will leave for England imminently where he will be subjected to the necessary formalities ahead of the completion of the transfer.”

PSV general manager Marcel Brands also confirmed Gakpo’s anticipated transfer would be a “record” for the Dutch club. Hirving Lozano’s move to Napoli in 2019 was the previous highest sale by the Eredivisie outfit.

A club statement added: “Both clubs are not making any announcements about the transfer fee.”

“But this is a record transfer for PSV,” said general manager Brands.

The Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar is allegedly a target for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur

Both Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old Slovakian defender, and they may soon make the player a contract offer, per a report from Team talk.

Skriniar’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, and when the transfer market opens the following month, he will be able to sign a pre-contract with international teams. The player and Inter Milan have been attempting to reach an agreement on a new contract, but they have not yet been successful.

The 27-year-old is already one of Europe’s top defenders, and in the upcoming campaigns, he has a chance to become a player of the highest calibre. He would be useful to Tottenham as well as Liverpool. Skriniar would be a great addition if Liverpool needed to replace Joel Matip. Joe Gomez appears to be a shell of the player he was before his injury, and Matip has struggled with ongoing knee issues.

Skriniar would be a good addition for Tottenham, as Antonio Conte is still looking for a dependable teammate for Cristian Romero. Given that they both worked together at Inter Milan, the Italian manager will be well familiar with the Slovakian. The 27-year-old defender might perhaps be looking forward to a get-together.

The 27-year-old is being watched by a number of Premier League teams, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United, in addition to Liverpool and Tottenham.

Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund is the “frontrunner” to be signed by Liverpool after Jurgen Klopp decided to bolster his Anfield squad

The Reds remain 15 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal, but when the winter transfer market opens at the beginning of the year, Klopp will have the chance to expand his choices.

Liverpool considers Bellingham to be their top target, and they intend to sign him in the summer of 2019.

Although Spanish reports claimed earlier this week that the England international has not yet decided whether to return to his native country or to sign with Real Madrid, it now appears that is not the case. That’s because, according to noted journalist Jacque Talbot, Dortmund still think Bellingham hasn’t made up his mind about his future.

Despite admitting that he is ready to conduct business when the transfer window reopens, Liverpool manager Klopp laughed at rumours that he could buy the teenager in the early months of 2023.

Bellingham’s value has been established at £132 million by Dortmund as they get ready to talk to him about his future and see out if he wants to finalise his departure. His impressive performance on the biggest stage came after he had already scored nine goals for Dortmund this season, thus Liverpool should put moving him first.

If Liverpool wants to entice Benfica star Enzo Fernandez to Anfield next month, they will have to pay a “crazy” amount

When the winter transfer market opens at the beginning of the year, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp will have the chance to bolster his team. As a result of expedited planning and the signing of a pre-agreement, Fernandez will move to Merseyside in the summer of 2019.

According to the report, the Reds wanted to act quickly since Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City were also interested in signing the midfielder from Benfica.

However, negotiations with Fernandez’s agent are still ongoing, as reported by RMC through Get French Football News. These clubs include Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Inter Milan.

Without a doubt, Fernandez will have attracted the attention of the top teams in Europe after helping Argentina win the World Cup earlier this month. The 21-year-old earned the title of Young Player of the Tournament and was his country’s fourth-best performer in Qatar, receiving an average match rating of 7.06.

The honour highlights Fernandez’s talent, and he also had a strong start to the season for Benfica, contributing to eight goals in 24 games.

Moises Caicedo still has two-and-a-half years on his current contract at the Amex Stadium.

Liverpool are making their entire focus on January’s transfer window and they would have to pay a “big fee” to secure Brighton star Moises Caicedo at Anfield, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Jurgen Klopp wants to boost his midfield and Ecuador international is a good option. He was part of Gustavo Alfaro’s La Tri squad at the World Cup.

As per the reports of Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, both Chelsea and Liverpool are interested in Brighton midfielder. However, Brighton have no interest in letting the midfielder leave in the middle of the season. The club is doing great this season despite losing Graham Potter as their head coach.

The Seagulls value the 21-year-old attacker at £70m according to The Sun and will be under no pressure to sell him in January. The player still has two-and-a-half years on his current contract at the Amex Stadium.

O’Rourke spoke to GiveMeSport: “It’d be a big fee if Brighton were to consider selling him in January. I’m sure if Liverpool and Chelsea do firm up their interest in Caicedo, it’s a move that maybe the player will be interested in, but it would have to be on Brighton’s terms.”

Caicedo played in every minute of Ecuador’s World Cup campaign. But, the midfielder was able to provide Ecuador with a goal in Qatar. He scored an equaliser against Senegal but the African side went on to win the deciding group-stage clash 2-1.

However, the South American starlet will be hoping that a decent showing on the world’s biggest stage could potentially secure him a move to one of Europe’s top clubs in winter.

Enzo Fernandez is just 21 and coming off a World Cup victory for Argentina.

According to a fresh report from The Mirror, Liverpool are planning to make a big for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez in the summer transfer window. Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to add to his options in midfield.

Liverpool have gone through a tough phase in Premier League. They have surprised City during this phase but overall, Klopp is not proud of his side’s performances.

‘Fernandez’s stock has firmly risen due to World Cup glory and Benfica are set to be inundated with offers, albeit they are under no pressure to sell according to reports.

The report also added the Argentine would prefer a move to Liverpool if he did leave the Estadio da Luz.

Argentine publication Diario La Capital reported last week that the 21-year-old playmaker has already reached an agreement with Liverpool regarding a transfer next summer.

It also adds that Liverpool already has an agreement in principle with the Portuguese club to incorporate the young Argentina midfielder from June 2023.

The World Cup winner came to Lisbon from River Plate and signed for Benfica in the previous summer for a fee in the region of €12 million. The 21-year-old has featured 24 times, scoring three goals and providing five assists across all competitions.

The Benfica man is primarily a central midfielder and his versatility allows him to slot in as an attacking midfielder in the hour of need.

Liverpool would get benefit from this deal. The Argentine playmaker is just 21 and coming off a good experience. Klopp needs regular midfielders.

Mohammed Kudus from Ajax could make a move to Klopp’s Liverpool this summer

During the sides’ Champions League group stage battles, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp got the chance to observe Ajax forward Mohammed Kudus up close and personal. The 2-1 loss by Ajax to Liverpool at Anfield in September featured the 22-year-old Ghanaian international’s goal. He only played 32 minutes of football in the rematch, but he still caused trouble for Liverpool’s defence as Ajax chased the game.

During the summer, Kudus tried to force through a transfer to Everton, but it has since been revealed that he had earlier conducted negotiations with the Reds about a switch, so he may now choose to join them at Anfield. Kudus allegedly spoke with Liverpool in the summer about a potential transfer to Merseyside. It was stated that the discussions were “casual.”

Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the round of 16 of the Champions League. A replay of the 2021 Champions League Final will be played in the round of 16. Football fans can place bets on the Liverpool vs. Real Madrid Champions League match using the skybet sign up offer, choosing the club they think will prevail.

The Ajax player is currently seeking a move to the Premier League, and if a side is willing to pay the Dutch club’s asking price, he might be moved in January. Due to the fact that Ajax had already signed several players from the team from the previous season, they were reluctant to sell Kudus in the summer.

The striking duo of Sebastien Haller and Antony was among the nine players the Amsterdammers sold. Ajax did not want to lose Kudus after already losing two of the team’s key players and manager Erik ten Hag.

Glen Johnson consider Argentina WC glory better than Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League triumph

Glen Johnson consider Argentina WC glory better than Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League triumph
BILDBYRÅN

Liverpool turned things around within six second-half minutes and won in a penalty shootout later.

Glen Johnson admits that yesterday’s World Cup final between France and Argentina was better than Liverpool’s famous Champions League triumph in Istanbul back in 2005.

Lionel Messi and Angel de Maria inspired Argentina to their first World Cup success since 1986. The game finished 3-3 after extra time and the tie was settled on penalties with the Copa America Champions winning 4-2.

The former Reds defender has also claimed that Kylian Mbappe, who became the first man to score a hat trick in a World Cup final since Geoff Hurst in 1966, will be as successful as his PSG teammate in ten years’ time.

“The World Cup final was certainly the best final I’ve seen,” he told Midnite (via the Liverpool Echo). “Forget it being a final, it was one of the most entertaining games I’ve seen.

“It had everything other than a red card, great attacking, defending, goals and saves. For me, it’s the best final I’ve ever seen. It’s better than Liverpool’s Istanbul comeback in 2005 because it’s a World Cup final, it’s the biggest game in football.

“Anyone outside of Liverpool does not appreciate the Istanbul game even though it’s up there as one of the best finals.”

Liverpool’s success in the 2005 Champions League was extraordinary. The Reds were 3-0 down at halftime against a team full of world-class players such as Kaka, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, and Hernan Crespo but Liverpool managed to turn things around within six second-half minutes.

Johnson also commented on the performance of Mbappe and said: “Kylian Mbappe was the substory of the final. He did not offer anything in the first 60 minutes but then he sparked himself alive and scored a hattrick.

“It’s heartbreaking to put in his performance and not win the World Cup. I’d be over the moon if Liverpool can sign Mbappe because he’ll be getting the same accolades as Lionel Messi has in 10 years time.”

Liverpool interested in loan move for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie in January

Liverpool interested in loan move for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie in January

Juventus may be willing to let Weston McKennie leave the Allianz Stadium.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in loan move for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie in the winter transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp is desperate to sign an elite midfielder and has made Jude Bellingham his number-one priority. However, with any potential deal for the Englishman teenager likely to be struck at the end of the season, it means a move for USA international McKennie is being considered by the FA Cup champions, that’s according to the Daily Mail.

The Reds have already completed a season-long loan deal of Arthur Melo from the Serie A giants this season and it appears that they’re weighing up the second bit of business with the Turin-based outfit.

According to a report of Calciomercato (via The Boot Room), Juventus may be willing to let the versatile midfielder leave the Allianz Stadium permanently if they receive an offer in the region of £25-30m.

Reports linking McKennie with a move to Merseyside go as far back as 2019 while he was playing for Schalke. The World Cup has resulted in a number of players being linked with the FA Cup champions.

Morocco’s Sofyan Amrabat and World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez are the other midfielders reportedly being considered and it certainly looks like we have a couple of busy transfer windows ahead of us.
