According to reports, Real Madrid prefer signing Sadio Mane instead of Mohamed Salah. Recent reports have linked Real Madrid to a number of top footballers. These include Eden Hazard, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Real showed interest in Mohamed Salah last summer but were unable to sign him. They even showed interest in Salah in recent weeks.
However, Real now want to rope in Sadio Mane. Mane has been outstanding for Liverpool lately. He has scored 11 goals in his last 11 matches for Liverpool.
Following a terrific performance against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, Mane scored for Liverpool against Fulham last weekend. He now has 20 goals across all competitions and 17 in the Premier League alone. Mane has a very good chance of winning the Premier League Golden Boot this season as he only has to beat Sergio Aguero.
Mane’s recent run of form has attracted attention from Real Madrid and the club prefer signing him rather than signing Mohamed Salah who has not scored in any of his last 7 matches for The Reds.
Reports suggest that Mane is ‘secretly’ interested in a move to Real Madrid.
Mane has now joined his national team ahead of the international break. Sadio Mane will captain Senegal in their final AFCON qualifier against Madagascar on Friday and their friendly against Mali on Tuesday.
