Liverpool came back from 3-0 down at Barcelona to beat the Catalans 4-0 at Anfield in what was one of the best Champions League comebacks.

The defeat was Barcelona’s second consecutive exit in a similar fashion after their thrashing at the hands of AS Roma last year and one particular Barcelona and former Liverpool star could not take the nightmare.

Luis Suarez formerly of Liverpool and currently of Barcelona said “he wanted to to disappear from the world” following their defeat at Anfield.

Barcelona’s schoolboy defending matched by Liverpool’s will power to not give up saw the Reds complete a stunning comeback and finally go on to win the final as well earlier this month in Madrid.

“It was a childish mistake for Liverpool’s winning goal,” he told FOX Sports. “We were in shock, but that goes beyond the last goal.

“We knew that if we made an error we would be very embarrassed, but I never imagined that it was over.

“It was one of the worst moments in my career. I wanted to disappear from the world, from social networks, I was sad, I could not laugh with my children. I did not want anything.”
