According to the latest reports, Liverpool want to sign Aaron Ramsey.
Juventus have not been able to get the best out of the Welshman and both parties are ready to call it quits after this season.
Andrea Pirlo also wants to clear out Ramsey’s mammoth wages to make room for more additions. Reports indicate that Ramsey could be offered for just £10.3m (€12m). He has two more years left on his contract.
Liverpool’s biggest problem is the goal contribution from their midfield line up. Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are great playmakers but they hardly ever get on the scoresheet. Ramsey promises that one aspect in plenty. At 30, he still has plenty of football left in him to make an impact for a Premier League giant.
Currently, Jurgen Klopp is focused on seeing out the season with the top four still in his sights. After Diogo Jota picked up an injury against West Brom, The Reds boss said, “Diogo, when the swelling went down, we did another picture and it looked better than in the first place with the first scan. With the CT [scan] you could see it better.
“So, there is a tiny, tiny little chance for him for the weekend, but it depends how it improves now. We have to see that.
“It is obviously good news for Portugal and for Diogo himself, with the Euros not in danger at all. That’s good, but if it’s good enough for us, we will see.”
