Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlaine would leave in the summer.

The 29-year-old’s contract is due to expire at the end of this season and would the club as a free agent.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled this season with a hamstring problem limiting him to just 12 appearances across all competitions.

He was regarded as one of the brightest young players in the country and spent six years at Arsenal contributing 20 goals and 32 assists in the process.

He moved to Anfield in the summer of 2017 for £35m and has enjoyed a successful spell in terms of trophies.

But the Southampton prodigy has struggled with injuries in the last few seasons and struggled to earn a regular spot in Klopp’s XI.

After his ACL injury in the 2017/28 season, the English midfielder struggled to get back to his previous levels.

Liverpool are planning for a massive midfield overhaul this summer with the likes of Naby Keita and James Milner also leaving the club.

The Reds would invest in a number of midfielders to compensate for the number of midfielders leaving the club.
