Andy Robertson has made his Liverpool teammates aware of the threat Harry Kane possesses.

The Tottenham Hotspur frontman is likely to play his part in the Champions League final against the Reds in Madrid on Saturday. Kane hobbled off the pitch after suffering an ankle injury during Spurs’ quarter final clash with Manchester City.

The England captain was expected to be on the sidelines for this crucial match but like previous times he has made himself available providing Mauricio Pochettino with a big boost ahead of the big final.

Robertson has been one of the success stories this season but has issued a warning regarding Kane’s availability in this crucial match.

‘You’ve got long enough to prepare for different scenarios

‘They’ll do that with us and we’ll do that with them. It doesn’t really matter who plays.

‘Of course, Harry Kane is a world-class striker and whether he’s fit or not, he could be a match winner for them. We obviously hope not.

‘It doesn’t really make a difference which team starts for them, we need to concentrate on us and concentrate on being 100 per cent defensively and attacking.

‘If we do that, we believe we’re good enough to win the game.

‘The only difference with two Premier League clubs is there will probably be no surprises.

‘We both roughly know how each other are going to play so hopefully we’ll do that and come out on top.’
