Szoboszlai’s quest for his fourth Premier League goal continues, regardless of whether it was due to a subpar finish, amazing goalkeeping, or whatever in between. He last scored in Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Chelsea on January 31, which is 18 outings ago. For the midfielder from Hungary, it was another near-miss moment and an illustration of why he divides support among certain segments of the community.

Manager Arne Slot may be growing increasingly concerned about Dominik Szoboszlai’s difficulties at Liverpool. With five wins from their first six games, the Reds have dominated the Premier League and are now ahead of rivals Manchester City and Arsenal. Under their new manager, the team has had a great start to the season.
Additionally, Slot will believe that a few of his players may get better Szoboszlai in particular having had a difficult campaign to begin with. The manager of the Hungarian international gave him a job that seems designed to capitalise on his vast range of passing and inventiveness, but he has been hesitant to really establish himself when given time and space going forward.
