It has been predicted that before the summer transfer window shuts, Liverpool will try to recruit left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves, a rival in the Premier League. Although they haven’t made a summer acquisition, the Premier League’s biggest clubs are still shopping around as their executives try to finalize a couple of deals.

As top target Martin Zubimendi chose to remain with Real Madrid, it has been widely speculated that Liverpool is unlikely to sign a new No. 6. According to a rumour, Arne Slot’s team rejected the gifted midfielder for a major reason. Rather than Alisson Becker, who has supposedly already agreed to terms with the Premier League team, Liverpool is working on a deal to recruit a long-term replacement.

Ait-Nouri of Wolves is reportedly being linked to Liverpool, who are also expected to look for a new center back.

Liverpool ‘really like’ Wolves star and deal could get done soon

David Lynch claims that Liverpool is searching for a new left-back to rival Robertson, and that one player they are considering is Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri. Last season, the 23-year-old Algerian international made 33 Premier League games and scored two goals, enjoying the best season of his career thus far.

Ait-Nouri is a flexible player who can cover in a number of positions for Liverpool. He can play as a left-back or left midfielder. Lynch believes Ait-Nouri is a player Liverpool should keep an eye on, but Wolves won’t let him go for peanuts; his asking price is rumoured to be over £40 million.
