It was on 7 May 2019 when the Reds made one of the greatest comebacks in football history.
And it seems that the players celebrated the win in a fine mode.
It’s nine months and two days since Liverpool‘s miraculous comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League. The Reds were trailing 3-0 from their semi-final first leg against Barca. But braces from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum sent Liverpool through to the final.
And it appears that some of Liverpool’s players went the extra mile in celebrating that victory. According to the Mirror, Jordan Henderson‘s wife had given birth to a baby boy. It’s the captain’s third child, joining his young daughters, Elexa and Alba. Henderson’s wife gave birth to their child exactly nine months after that historic night at Anfield.
And, in what could be one just massive coincidence, Mohamed Salah‘s wife has reportedly given birth to a baby girl today, which they have named Kayan. Mo didn’t actually play in the game due to injury, but was present on the sidelines wearing a shirt which read ‘Never give up’. It’s Salah’s second child, joining his young daughter, Makka.
