Bayern Munich coach holds talks with Liverpool striker Mane

Bayern Munich coach Julian has spoken with Liverpool striker Sadio Mane about a move to the Bundesliga

Two proposals for the Senegal captain, who is ready to come to Munich this summer, have been rejected by Bayern. Mane’s contract is soon to expire, and he has his heart set on joining Bayern Munich.

Bayern sporting director is looking to ‘meet personally’ with Liverpool over Sadio Mane. The Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich continue to ramp up their pursuit of the Senegal international with the approaching exit of Robert Lewandowski.

Reports adds that the two clubs have been in ongoing contact with one another and now report from Sport Bild claims Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić is set to take matters into his own hands.

Salihamidžić is likely to travel to England later this week “to meet personally with Liverpool bosses” and continue negotiations for the player.

According to the Daily Mail, Bayern Munich coach Joachim Nagelsmann has talked to Mane in recent days about his impending move to the Bundesliga giants.

Bayern’s latest offer increased to £30 million on Wednesday, albeit the £6.5 million extra would only be payable if Mane won three Champions League titles and as many Ballon d’Or honours at the Allianz Arena.

Mane will not leave Liverpool for less than £42.5 million, according to Liverpool.
