Liverpool have finally agreed terms with Bayern Munich over the transfer of Thiago Alcantara.
The Reds have decided to meet Bayern’s asking price of €30 million after all to complete a transfer soon.

Jurgen Klopp broke ground on personal terms with the midfielder long back. Liverpool were only negotiating with Bayern over his transfer fee. The European champions held strong on their demands and are about to receive exactly that.
Thiago has agreed to stay at Liverpool until June 2024. Other reports claim that £20m will be paid to Bayern upfront and another £5m in add-ons. He will be taking on the number 6 jersey which has been vacated by Dejan Lovren. At 29, the Spaniard could be one of the standout figures in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield.
The Merseyside outfit were always the favourites to sign him although, Manchester United and Arsenal were linked with him too. Liverpool seems like the perfect fit for Thiago at this point of his career.
After spending seven years with Bayern, he wanted a new challenge in his career. The Premier League champions will offer just that with a prolific setup in place to accomodate him.
