Can Raheem Sterling ruin Liverpool's Anfield night?

As the big Sunday match inches closer, Liverpool and Manchester City are shielding up rather handsomely.

The stage for the clash between the 1st and the 2nd team in the Premier League standings has been set handsomely.

Manchester City will have to turn to their key man and one player who Pep will be banking on is Raheem Sterling.

“All the credit is for him,” said Guardiola after Sterling’s recent Champions League hat-trick against Atalanta.

“His physicality is incredible. He’s strong the day after the game, he could play another game. He can play on both sides, is fast, defensively help us a lot, so is an extraordinary player.”

His teammates also praised the Englishman for his brilliant form of late.

“He’s crucial for us, you need this type of player, a game-changing player, and he is probably the one player who can change everything for us,” said City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan on Sterling’s influence.

“Just now it’s about consistency but he has shown in the last 12 to 18 months that he is able to be that consistent. He is among the five best attacking players in the world, definitely.”

And Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is more than aware of the threat the player poses tomorrow. Klopp has told his team to keep a special look out for Raheem.
