Chelsea still negotiating with Brighton for Moises Caicedo despite Liverpool's big offer

Liverpool went higher than Chelsea in Thursday’s effective auction for Caicedo, bidding £110m.

Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is the primary target in Premier League. He is on radar of Chelsea but Liverpool made it interesting by offering a record transfer fee. However, the player wants to play for Chelsea only.

Chelsea are still negotiating with Brighton for Moises Caicedo. The Reds went higher than Chelsea in Thursday’s effective auction for Caicedo, bidding £110m.

Chelsea can make the two work under Financial Fair Play without significant sales. The Blues dropped interest in Leeds United’s Tyler Adams despite the player travelling to London in what was supposed to be a £20m deal.

Brighton are preparing to sell Caicedo, and manager Roberto De Zerbi has already confirmed he is now working on his team without the 21-year-old in his plans.
