Chiesa has netted 17 times and provided 13 assists in 59 appearances for Juventus.
Federico Chiesa has reportedly rejected the chance to move to Liverpool in a £60m deal in order to sign for Juventus. The Italian star is in the second of a two-year loan deal at Juventus from Fiorentina. The Serie A giants are set to acquire his services permanently next summer.
Chiesa is getting interest from clubs outside Italy during his days with Fiorentina. Liverpool supposedly had an agreement in place with the Viola before the attacker opted to head for Turin.
“Fiorentina had reached an agreement with Liverpool for 70 million euros (£60m), but the negotiations did not go through due to the boy’s desire to go to Juventus, journalist Niccolo Ceccarini said while speaking to RTV38.
Chiesa has netted 17 times and provided 13 assists in 59 appearances for Juventus. He has three goals and three assists from 16 games across all tournaments this season for the Old Lady.
He continues to be linked with a move elsewhere, though, with Chelsea rumoured to be plotting an £84m swoop in 2022.
