Conor Bradley has praised his Liverpool teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold, describing the right-back as a “one of a kind” footballer.
“Conor Bradley on Trent Alexander-Arnold: ‘He’s Not Bad, Is He?’”

Bradley, who has had a breakthrough year at Anfield, spoke candidly about his admiration for Alexander-Arnold while also expressing his own ambitions to challenge for the right-back spot.
The 21-year-old Northern Ireland international has grown in stature throughout 2024, becoming a key figure in both club and country.
Captaining Northern Ireland during the October international break, Bradley’s confidence on the field has been evident, but he knows the competition he faces at Liverpool is steep.
When asked about competing with Alexander-Arnold, Bradley was both realistic and light-hearted.
“He’s not bad, is he?” Bradley quipped before going on to acknowledge the quality that his teammate brings to the team.
“Everybody knows how good Trent is. He’s one of a kind as a footballer,” Bradley told The Liverpool Echo.
“But my aim is the same as last season—whenever I get a chance to be on the pitch, I’m going to do my best to help the team.”
While Bradley respects Alexander-Arnold’s talent, he’s clear that training hard and pushing his more senior teammate can only be good for the squad.
“If I’m training well, hopefully it can push Trent on, and that can only be good for the team,” Bradley added.
For now, Bradley remains second choice, but with Alexander-Arnold’s contract situation still unresolved, there could be a shift in the right-back hierarchy in the future.
Liverpool are reportedly confident that Alexander-Arnold will extend his stay before Christmas, yet with European giants like Real Madrid and PSG circling, the upcoming months could prove decisive for both players.
Bradley’s hunger to continue improving, however, remains undiminished as he keeps his focus on seizing any opportunity that comes his way.
