Nunez will now miss Liverpool’s next three matches.

Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez has apologised for his ‘ugly attitude’ in Monday’s clash with Crystal Palace.

With his side down 1-0, the Uruguayan forward was sent off for a headbutt on Joachim Andersen.

Luis Diaz equalised shortly after and the match finished 1-1.

“I am aware of the ugly attitude I had,” he wrote on Twitter.

“I’m here to learn from my mistakes and it won’t happen again.”

Nunez will now miss Liverpool’s next three matches. Liverpool will now face Manchester United next on August 23. The former Benfica forward will be seen against Everton on September 03 after missing back-to-back home clashes.
