Sadio Mane netted a winning goal for the Reds at Villa Park.

Robbie Fowler sought out Sadio Mane after Liverpool’s victory at Villa Park last night.

Mane proved the matchwinner as Liverpool earn valuable three points against Aston Villa to level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City.

According to Liverpool Echo, the Senegal international was struggling to get down the tunnel after the final whistle. First, he was almost swept off his feet by a massive bear hug from Jurgen Klopp.

Speaking to Sky Sports about his winning goal, Mane said: “I think it was possible because it was a good cross from (Luis) Diaz. I just needed to put it into the net, even without power, I usually try and score and normally I do. He (Diaz) is a very good player. We know each other very well, we train everyday, and I know that when he has got the ball I know where he is going to put it.”
