Naby Keita, a midfielder for Liverpool, has had discussions with the Turkish club Galatasaray

Keita can sign a pre-contract deal with clubs throughout Europe because his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

There’s a good likelihood Liverpool will prioritise a midfield signing this summer because they are in a transitional period. Liverpool’s top objective would always be to sign Jude Bellingham, Fabrizio Romano stated in an earlier version of this year’s Substack column in response to a CaughtOffside inquiry.

Keita may fall further down the Liverpool hierarchy if they are successful in signing Bellingham, making a move away from Anfield more possible in the coming summer.

Turkish club Galatasaray is now in talks to sign Keita, according to A Spor. According to the source, discussions are just getting started as Galatasaray tries to persuade him to transfer to Turkey.

Keita’s downturn will be disheartening given how well regarded he was prior to joining Liverpool, but things in the Premier League haven’t exactly worked out for him thus far.
