Gary Neville strongly believes that the current season must be finished and not declared null and void.
Good news for Liverpool fans, because he has crafted a 5 step plan to comfortably finish the season – hopefully without any hiccups. And this could further lead to Liverpool winning the 2019-20 Premier League title – which they very much deserve.
The Premier League has been suspended till April 30th. However, due to the spread of the virus, as death tolls climb up, the League is likely to be suspended well into the summer months.Â
Premier League and FA Cup leaders have come together to devise a plan – to finish the season in July behind closed doors. With clubs dipping low on finances, next year’s League Cup and EFL Trophy might have to be cancelled in order to finish this season.
Gary Neville has given his own inputs on how to finish the season smoothly – a 5 step plan. Here it is:
- Finish this season in a short time frame when safe
- Condense next season if needed
- Open transfer window from May and run it all the way through 20/21 to give clubs agility
- Extend player contracts to complete 19/20
- Financial packages for clubs in need including non-league
-finish this season in a short time frame when safe
