Georginio Wijnaldum is struggling for minutes at the French capital.
The 31-year old midfielder joined Parc des Princes in the summer after his contract with Liverpool ended.
He has just played 89 minutes in his last four games and have made a total of 27 appearances this year largely due to a number of injuries in the midfield.
Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in his services with his future uncertain with PSG.
The former Liverpool midfielder said: “The fact is, when I did this interview, I was just a little disappointed with the way things were going in sporting terms at the start of the season, on a personal level.
“During this period many thought that I wasn’t happy at the club when I actually was.
“I was simply not happy with the playing time that I was being given at that time.
“A journalist asked me: ‘Are you satisfied with your playing time?’ No, I wasn’t.
“I think any player who spends more time sitting on a bench than on the pitch won’t be fulfilled by that situation.
“The media interpreted my words by saying that I wasn’t happy at PSG, which was absolutely not the case.”
