Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that skipper Jordan Handerson and Naby Keita will miss tomorrow’s match against Cardiff City. Both players missed Liverpool’s Champios League match against red Star Belgrade due to a hamstring injuries.

Hiwever, they haven’t recovered yet and will also miss tomorrow’s match.

Klopp said, “It will not work out for them tomorrow. They are both in a good way but they will not be ready. That’s pretty much it though – the rest, apart from [Alex] Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian [Brewster], should be available.”

Klopp also said he is eager to meet Cardiff manager Neil Warnock. He said, “I’m really looking forward to meeting him, I’ve heard a lot about him. He’s obviously very talented vocal wise.

It will be a pleasure to meet him. I’m not sure during the 90 minutes but I’m sure it will be before and after. He is one of the most experienced managers in the world of football – so successful in the past. It is unbelievable what he did.

My respect for the Championship grows every day pretty much. It is such a difficult league and it looks like he can do in that league what he wants. He got promotion which is an unbelievable achievement.”

Liverpool are currently 2nd in the Premier League table behind Manchester City. Both teams have the same number of points (23) but Manchester City have a much superior goal-difference. Hence, Liverpool will hope to register a massive win over Cardiff City to improve their goal-difference.
