Jurgen Klopp has praised Alisson as ‘worldclass’ after his remarkable save against Everton

The Brazilian goalkeeper produced a late heroic save in the 0-0 draw at Everton on Sunday.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin clever flick was stopped by Alisson before Tom Davies struck the ball to the loose post.

Jurgen Klopp’s side lacked the first team players such as Mohammad Salah and Andy Robertson and Henderson believes they can be a lot better ahead.

Henderson said, “He has been outstanding all season and he’s come up with a brilliant save as well to keep us with a clean sheet, so that was important for us,”he said of the keeper. “But, overall there’s still a lot of positives.”

Klopp highlighted Alisson’s role after the match, saying: “We should not take Alisson for granted.

“Absolutely outstanding. That’s what a world-class goalkeeper is – nothing to do for pretty much 90 minutes then he’s there.”

Klopp added, “The point is one we deserve,”he said. “Everton were well organised so we had to run a lot but we looked fit and ready.

“Now we’ve got three days. Crystal Palace looked good on Saturday and we have to make sure we are ready for Wednesday.”
