Liverpool drew with Manchester United last night.

The Reds had won 32 of their last 34 matches at Anfield but United proved a tough battle.

The Reds attacked and controlled the game but it was to no avail as the Red Devils launched a staunch defence of their rearguard which saw the match end 0-0.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson feels that Liverpool were the better team after the game and deserved all 3 points for the match.

Henderson told Sky Sports post-game: “We are a little disappointed we haven’t taken three points at home.

“I thought we did enough to win the game, especially first half.

“We had a lot of the ball we created chanced but just couldn’t find back if then net

“Yes, they had one or two chances – they were dangerous on the counter – but overall I thought we were the better team to win the game.

“I would say the performance levels haven’t been up to our standards in the past few weeks.

“We just showed that we have got to keep going, work hard and improving. We will not stop now.”
