Brazilian goalkeeper bids farewell to AS Roma after representing them for 2 seasons.
Alisson joined Liverpool for for a fee of £66.8 million (€72.5 million), making him the most expensive goalkeeper of all time.
Alisson was linked to many clubs after the end of season in 2017-18 which saw his side reached the Champions League final before being eliminated by the Reds.
Alisson reached his AS Roma fan through social media and thanked them for giving him enormous amount of love during his spell of two years at the club.
He said, At Roma I enjoyed two beautiful seasons; different, intense, but in the end full of achievements,” he wrote on his Official Twitter Account.
“We are heading in different directions, but I want to thank everyone: the club, the team, and all the fans of Roma that motivated me to leave it all out on the pitch.
“I especially want to thank my team-mates, who have been at my side for every battle, every high and low, and have been great with me from the first day. It was truly an honour to fight alongside you guys!
“I will always carry this club, and this city, in my heart.”
Alisson is Reds 4th transfer this season after the signing of Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri.
Liverpool boss has also admitted that the player is “world Class” and he is happy to have him at Anfield.
The player also revealed that his former team mate, Salah text messaged him which convinced him to join the Reds
