Jude Bellingham will join Liverpool this summer if he doesn’t base his choice on financial considerations

Some of the top teams in Europe are interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, but Falk believes that if money is not an issue, he will end up at Anfield.

Liverpool thinks Bellingham is a “genuine chance” to join with them. But the Reds will have a tough time signing the 19-year-old this summer. The Telegraph stated in November that Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United would all be involved in bidding wars for Bellingham and his England teammate Declan Rice.

The Dortmund player is currently rated by Transfermarkt at about £96 million. Falk is certain that Bellingham will choose Liverpool as his future club if he decides not to put financial considerations first. Bellingham’s performance in the most recent World Cup was described as “simply exceptional” by Klopp, who has made no secret of his appreciation for him.

Bellingham’s maturity has been praised by others as well; Henry Winter of The Times called it “extraordinary” last year.

Given that Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s contracts expire in the summer, it is easy to understand why Liverpool wants Bellingham. Without a doubt, the midfield is an area of the field that requires attention, thus Bellingham’s arrival at Anfield would be great.
