Jurgen Klopp wants Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as an attacking option.
The 27-year old forward has struggled for game time as he missed the first three months of the season due to a knee injury.
He is hoping to make his 100th appearance for the Reds when they travel to Arsenal on Saturday evening.
Roberto Firmino was sidelined with a knee injury but is back now although Klopp has limited attacking options at his disposal.

Klopp said on Oxlade-Chamberlain being an attacking option: “He can do that, he did that against West Ham away as well, he came on there and did really well.
“It’s an option. Ox is obviously a versatile player and definitely more offensive-oriented, and it’s a very offensive position for him with the speed, technique, the moves and turns, he is able to do the acceleration, it’s a good position.
“It wasn’t only for that. He hasn’t played there 500 times obviously, but we knew because of the West Ham game that it can be good for him, and that’s why he came on at Wolves.
“He was impressive. Even though it was three weeks ago, it was good.”
