Jurgen Klopp gives an injury update ahead of Watford clash

Few first-team players are unavailable for this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will be facing Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.

A number of first-team players are set to be available for this game.

Trent Alexander-Arnold missed games against Porto and Man City due to a muscle issue but is back to training with the squad.

Diogo Jota who sat out in his country’s fixtures will also be available for this game.

There is still some doubt for Thiago Alcantara who is recovering from his calf injury.

Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com: “They are all good, they are all in a good way, let me say it like this.

“So it looks really like Trent and Diogo will be fine, they will train with us tomorrow completely normal, that’s the plan.

“Thiago needs probably a little bit longer, [he] was not in team training yet – that’s always not a good sign for starting the next game.

“And the rest [of the] international [players], some are back, obviously some are not back yet. And we will see.”
