January signing Luis Diaz has easily settled into the Liverpool squad.
The 25-year-old winger has hit the ground running since his arrival at Anfield this January and has impressed with his goal scoring abilities and adaptability in games.
He opened the scoring in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Brighton with a brave header and helped his team close the gap to league-leaders Man City.
Manager Jurgen Klopp explains how players like Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, Roberto Firmino has helped Diaz adjust to his new club.
“He’s a very good player, let me say it like this,” Klopp said about Diaz.
“We don’t have groups in our teams but what we do have is a few guys who speak Spanish and Portuguese and that helps Luis a lot.
“The very experienced players like Thiago, they take him under their wing. Fab, Bobby (Firmino) and Diogo are all really close to him and that helps.
“But in general he is a really nice kid. I am not sure how Harvey Elliott and Luis talk but they are together quite a lot and that means the boy has settled as quickly as the player.”
