Fabio Carvalho expected to play a key role this season for Liverpool.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder was Liverpool’s first signing of this summer window and the club paid only £5million for his services.
He has bagged 11 goals and eight assists in all competitions and won the Championship with Fulham last season.
He is expected to start this weekend against his former club Fulham at the Craven Cottage.
Jurgen Klopp claims the 19-year-old will play a bigger role than pundits anticipated.
“Top player. I really love it. He’s a massive talent and a really good kid,” Klopp said. “I’m really happy to have him, so it’s very important for us because we count on this age group as well. We don’t wait now until they are 22, 23 or whatever and use them.
“No, no, no. He is ready like Harvey is ready in the similar age group. That’s really cool. We all need luck in life as well with injury and stuff like this, but without that he will be a really important player for us.”
