Chelsea spent a historic £300m in this January transfer window.

The Blues have spent an astronomical sum of £300m in the winter transfer window and Jurgen Klopp was baffled by this crazy amount.

Chelsea has brought in eight players, i.e, Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, Noni Madueke, Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana, and Jimmy-Jay Morgan.

Todd Boehly broke the British record transfer fee of £107m to secure the services of World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez.

He has spent over 500 million pounds over the last two transfer windows alone.

The West Londoners were able to get around the FFP by spreading the cost of the deals over long contracts.

Jurgen Klopp is still confused about how Chelsea managed to pull off such an expensive January window.

“I will say nothing without my lawyer present,” the German coach told reporters. “No, that’s a joke. I don’t know. I don’t understand this part of the business but what can you do?

“[£300m] is a big number, but in the last two windows, the players they brought in I didn’t think once ‘why did they do that?’ they are all good players … [but] I don’t understand how it’s possible.”
