According to reports from Don Balon, Juventus will look to sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah provided Paulo Dybala leaves the club.

Dybala hasn’t done very well for Juventus ever since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. This season, the Argentina international has made 27 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists. The 25-year old is currently linked to Inter Milan and it seems that he might leave Europe.

One of the most talented forwards in Europe, Dybala has scored only two goals in the Serie A this season. This is very disappointing for a player who scored 22 goals in 333er league appearances last season.

Provided Dybala leaves Juventus, the club have two targets in mind. One of them is Mohamed Salah. Salah is currently one of the finest forwards in Europe. His performances for Liverpool have been remarkable so far.

Salah’s opening season for Liverpool saw him scoring 44 goals in 52 matches. He created a new Premier League record by scoring 32 goals in 36 league matches.

This season, Salah hasn’t been as lethal as he was last season. However, his tally of 20 goals from 34 matches is a pretty impressive one. Salah is currently the joint top-scorer in the Premier League with 17 goals in 26 appearances so far.

Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool during the summer which keeps him at the club till 2023. Liverpool will certainly not be willing to sell the Egyptian, at least not cheap.

The other player Juventus have identified as a target is Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio. Asensio is also targeted by Manchester United. Asensio’s numbers haven’t been nearly as impressive as those of Salah’s. However, he has talent and Juventus are eyeing him as among the replacements for Dybala.
