Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has been released from a hospital where he was admitted on Wednesday as positive from the coronavirus.
The 69-year-old former footballer and manager was receiving intravenous antibiotic therapy due to an infection caused by COVID-19, but is now in good condition and has been released from hospital.
Sir Kenny has been returned to his home in mandatory self-isolation.
“The doctors are absolutely brilliant. “People often think that celebrities are getting better treatment in healthcare facilities, but I can assure you that everyone is maximally cared for in hospitals.”
