Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes that Liverpool players should make full use of the one-week they have before their Premier League encounter against Arsenal on Saturday.
Liverpool registered their 8th Premier League win after drubbing Cardiff City 4-1. Their next match will be a tough one as they take on Arsenal who are currently enjoying a 12-match unbeaten run.
Clashes between Liverpool and Arsenal have been pretty exciting in the last few years and Saturday’s match should also be an interesting one because both sides have some of the fiercest attacks in Europe this season.
Jurgen Klopp is currently concerned with his players making the most out of the break they have before the match.
Klopp said, “The next game is away at Arsenal. I don’t think we will worry about how many goals we will score, we just have to get a result there. The boys have a rest in their mind and can start the preparation.
Look at the international players. They have been playing every three games with us or the national team. Now we have a normal week. There is no Carabao Cup so we have to use it.”
Klopp also said that Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita will be fit to play against Arsenal. He said, “Hendo [Jordan Henderson] is coming back and Naby [Keita] is coming back so we’ll have more players than we need for one game so it means we can make changes and we will if we want to.
We have the end of November, full December then January is crazy – it’s crazy. You have to make changes. In these three or four day rhythms, you have to make changes – a lot, a lot, a lot. That’s what we will do again. Hopefully.”
