Jurgen Klopp has lost Fabinho to injury ahead of Leicester tie.
On Fabinho being injured: “Fabinho will not be available for Leciester. He suffered another little muscle issue and will be out for this game.
“I really don’t know (if he can play RB Leipzig). We will see.”
With Fab, VVD, Matip, Gomez ruled out, it will be new boys Kabak and Davies facing Vardy and here is what Klopp has made of that: “Jamie Vardy is obviously a proper challenge, the way he gets set up by his team-mates, but you can only do it with the whole team. You have to avoid the passes to him. Jamie is a world class player in a specific area of the pitch.
“We’ve had some sessions together where we could work with this defensive setup but we have other players available.”
Klopp had good news on injury front otherwise: “He had a hamstring, a slightly bigger one. He is not training with the team yet.
“Diogo is close, but not as close as Naby. He is on the pitch as well. In rehab you have to train really intense before you get into team training.
“Diogo, two-to-three weeks maybe. That’s kind of possible. Back in full training maybe and then see how long it takes.
