Dietmar Hamann, an outspoken former Reds midfielder, has urged Jurgen Klopp to quit the team

With Klopp unlikely to receive the support he requires from these owners, the former Germany international, who also played for Manchester City and Newcastle during his time in the Premier League, has made it clear that he doesn’t believe things will get better for Liverpool next season.

Liverpool has had a challenging season, and they undoubtedly need to make significant roster changes this summer. Upgrades are required in nearly every area of their squad as important players like Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Mohamed Salah may all be past their prime, while others like Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Roberto Firmino will be out of contract at the end of the current season.

Hamann opined that it would be best for everyone if Klopp left his position because he simply cannot see the LFC board providing him with the support he requires.

He said on Sky Germany’s Sky 90 talk show, as translated by Sport Witness, “I’m afraid that if Klopp decides to stay on, it won’t be any better next year because the owners at Liverpool never spend the money like other clubs.”

“Neither he nor the wonderful union between Liverpool and Klopp would have deserved that.” He said, ‘Therefore, making an incision in the summer would be ideal for both parties. Klopp sounds like he wants to do it and believes he can, but I have serious reservations.’
