Kylian Mbappe 'Open' To A Liverpool Move

Kylian Mbappe is reportedly interested in joining Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

ESPN and BBC journalist, Julien Laurens has claimed that the World Cup winner would be open to the idea of an Anfield switch if a deal were to be agreed with PSG.

“It’s pretty simple. If Liverpool can pay the £253m, or £295m with bonuses and put that on the table – that is what PSG will ask anyone to sign Mbappe,” he told ESPN. “If Liverpool can afford that, plus give him the wages that he wants, he will consider that offer every day of the week.

“Yes, Real Madrid is his dream and one day there is a certainty that he will play at the Bernabéu. But he’s only 21 so there’s plenty of time for him to go and play in Madrid one day. The fact is that he also would like to play in the Premier League one day too.

“Liverpool is a very attractive proposition for any top player in the world right now with what they are putting together and the project of Jurgen Klopp. But again, if they can’t put that money down on the table for an offer, there’s no way he could go there.”

Of course, Jurgen Klopp has already notified everyone that the Reds simply don’t have the funds to prize away the likes of Mbappe and Jadon Sancho right now. So, don’t let this tiny bit of transfer whisper get your hopes up.
