Lallana talks about Kop culture at Anfield

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has instilled a Kop culture across Anfield.

This is at least what we believe around Anfield, according to Adam Lallana.

Klopp came and took over at Liverpool in 2015 when the club were not doing so well despite finishing second in the league a couple of seasons prior.

They were at best a cup side with a great history to live up to. However, Klopp upon arrival set atone a new spirit.

He is a brilliant manager who believes not in a winning culture but in one of team spirit and of fighting till the last second.

“It’s the mentality that is instilled throughout LFC and that started when the manager came in,” Lallana told Liverpoolfc.com.

“He wanted to create his own way of playing, his own mentality and you saw that throughout the whole 90 minutes today.

“I thought second half we were outstanding, the way we controlled the game, got the goal and they never really caused us any problems.

“Adrian was magnificent first half and had to make two or three big saves, but that’s what he’s there for. I thought we fully deserved the win and to get into the next round.”
