Kalvin Phillips could be a potential replacement for Jordan Henderson.

The 25-year old Leeds midfielder was impressive in England’s Euro campaign under Gareth Southgate as he started every game including the final.

He was one of the standout performers in the tournament who came out of the competition with a lot of praise.

Following Gini Wijnaldum’s departure and Jordan Henderson’s uncertain future, Liverpool could easily snap up Phillips as Henderson’s replacement whose contract is set to expire in the summer of 2023.

Phillips also has three years left on his Leeds contract and he will be on a number of clubs radars this summer.

“Yes, Kalvin Phillips will be on their radar, as well as everybody’s,” Danny Mills told Football Insider.

“He’s now gone from a good Premier League player to an international class player. That puts him in a whole new bracket of admiration.

“A lot of people will be watching him week in, week out. Whether they can afford him and whether he wants to leave is completely different.

“He will now be attracting a lot more attention than he previously was.”
