Liverpool and Leicester City have enquired about the availability of Olympiakos left-back Kostas Tsimikas.
According to reports Liverpool are monitoring Kostas Tsimikas and are willing to shell out £14m–£15m for the 24-year old.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is on the hunt for a backup to Andy Robertson and have enquired about Norwich’s Jamal Lewis but got their £10m bid rejected in the midweek.
Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiakos seems to be a viable and cheaper option for the Merseyside.
Olympiakos are ready to sell the Greek international for around £12m and have lined up St Etienne’s Miguel Trauco as a replacement.
Meanwhile, Kostas Tsimikas has been on Leicester’s wishlist for over a year now as a replacement for Ben Chilwell, who is likely to leave this summer to either Chelsea or Manchester City.
The 24-year old impressed the Premier League giants with his performance against Wolves in the Europa League.
He was also a part of the Olympiakos team that dumped Arsenal out of the Europa League.
The Reds’ system under Jurgen Klopp thrives on full-backs and both Robertson and Alexander-Arnold has been instrumental in helping the club get to where they are.
