Liverpool Are Playing 'Title-Winning Football' - Gary Neville

Gary Neville believes Liverpool cannot be compared to Manchester City and that the two sides play completely different football.

The Reds are currently cruising at the top of the Premier League with a 6-point lead over rivals, City.

Jurgen Klopp’s men came back after going 0-1 down in the first half to win against Tottenham on Sunday. They have so far, dropped points in only one game against Manchester United and that too at Old Trafford.

“There is a complete trust in this crowd, they are brilliant to watch and they are scintillating,” Neville told Sky Sports. “I agree with Jamie (Carragher) that there was only one winner at half-time and I thought that at 20 minutes to go.

“They have played title-winning football now for two years. You can’t compare them to Man City. They are a completely different team.

“They are relentless and they should win a title playing the football and amassing the points they have.”

Liverpool are now being strongly backed to end their 30-year drought of winning the league title. They fell short by only a point last season but did manage to encapsulate the glory through their sixth ever Champions League triumph.
