Liverpool are still in the race to land Leeds United star Raphinha this summer

However, it has been made known that Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Barcelona are vying for the services of the Brazilian wide winger with the Reds.

Raphinha had a passable season at Elland Road despite not being at his best for the majority of the season. In all competitions last season, he scored 11 goals and collected three assists, which helped Leeds avoid being threatened with relegation.

In 90 minutes of Premier League play, the Brazilian speedster averaged 1.5 tackles, 2.5 shots, 1.9 critical passes, and 1.8 dribbles. Raphinha, who only completed 69.3 percent of his passes in league football, was a little sloppy while passing to his teammates in the opposing half.

Raphinha possesses the speed to give his flanking defenders a lot of trouble. He can shoot the ball powerfully from a distance and is a great ball handler.

When playing with confidence on the field, the Brazilian talent may be a proficient finisher in front of the opponent’s goal. Raphinha is a right-sided wide player who can also play as a left-winger when necessary. He can, however, occasionally lack consistency in the last portion of his work.

Raphinha, though, may certainly benefit Liverpool by adding to the battle for spots on Jurgen Klopp’s matchday. However, because he would struggle at Anfield, the Brazil international won’t be a regular starter there.
