Mo Salah had an interview with Sky Sports where he claimed that this season will be his last in Liverpool colours.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has given an update on Mo Salah’s last season claim after the win against Man United in Sunday’s Premier League encounter.
Egypt International has been on the radar of Saudi clubs and he was supposed to leave the club this summer but it didn’t happen.
Liverpool beat Man United 3-0 in their Premier League game and Arne Slot became the first Liverpool boss in 49 years to win their first league game against Man United.
Mo Salah had an interview with Sky Sports where he claimed that this season will be his last in Liverpool colours. Slot was understandably asked about Salah’s future claim in his post-match press conference.
The Dutchman said via the Evening Standard, “It’s a lot of ‘ifs’ but at this moment he’s one of ours and I’m really, really happy with him being one of ours.”
“He plays really well. I don’t talk about contracts for players, but I can talk for hours about how Mo played today. But are you interested in that?”
Mo Salah started the season on a high note, scoring three goals and three assists in 2024/25. The 32-year-old is still on radar of Saudi Clubs and he may leave the club next summer.
