Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson admits Mohamed Salah is an injury concern after their FA Cup final victory over Chelsea

Cup success may have come at a cost for Liverpool, as Klopp was forced to withdraw top scorers Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Andrew Robertson at various points throughout the final.

Van Dijk did not return for extra time, despite Klopp later claiming the defender had a “hurt muscle” but was “fine,” while Robertson’s problems looked to be cramp-related.

The image of a dejected Salah going off in the first half, with the Premier League championship battle reaching its end and the Champions League final against Real Madrid just a fortnight away, was most frightening.

“It was a big blow with Mo going off,” Henderson said.

“But that’s what we’re all about. The attitude to dig deep and to win it on penalties is incredible.

“We’re here to lift trophies, we work so hard all season. It’s a big moment for us, we haven’t come this far, [and been] in this final, for some time, so to win it was special.

Liverpool managed to seal their FA cup victory over Chelsea in the penalties, but Liverpool saw Van dijk and Salah being helped of the pitch in this clash.
