Liverpool could sign Ousmane Dembele on a loan deal

Jurgen Klopp wants to strengthen his squad for next season

Liverpool have enjoyed a successful campaign this season under Jurgen Klopp, reaching the Champions League final where they will face Read Madrid on 26th May. Despite losing Philipe Coutinho in the January transfer window to Barcelona, the players have performed exceptionally well.

RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita is set to arrive at the club this summer but the German coach is looking to make more signings in the transfer window to strengthen the squad for next season.

The Reds have recently been linked with a move for Barcelona ace Ousmane Dembele. They are currently thin in attacking outlet and have heavily relied on their front three of Salah, Mane and Firmino. The club doesn’t have a backup and the 21 year old could provide the much needed depth next season.

The France International joined the La Liga giants from Borussia Dortmund for €105 million last summer. But the youngster hasn’t been able to justify his enormous price tag since his move, scoring four goals and assisting nine in all competitions.

He was injured at the beginning of the season and since then he has found it tough to replicate the form he showed at the German club. Barca are expected to complete the signing of Antoine Griezmann which could mean end of the road for Dembele at Camp Nou.

Barcelona are willing to let the French Winger leave on a loan deal this summer, reports liverpoolecho. The club wants to stick with for one more year and have already offered him to many European clubs.

According to reports, Klopp’s side are one of the clubs to whom former Dortmund star has been offered.
